Under the emulation movement of “Good farmer in production and business”, North Tan Uyen district’s Farmers’ Association has carried out many practical activities, helping members in economic development, rising up out of poverty and enriching themselves legitimately.

Le Hieu Liem, Chairman of North Tan Uyen district’s Farmers’ Association said that along with improving its operational form and content, the association has made efforts in taking solutions to help members in economic development. Particularly, in 2018, the association has teamed up with the local branch of the Bank for Social Policies to disburse loans for members. The association’s branches have so far set up 31 saving groups, providing loans for 2,063 households. Besides, the association has helped 72 households get loans from provincial Support Fund for Farmers and its branches. Well-off members of the association have also given support in terms of loans, nurslings, breeding animals for poor ones to develop production models.

Ho Van Thanh in Tan Thanh township is a typical example for the above-mentioned thing. The farmer said that thanks to the attention and help of the local Farmers’ Association, he has successfully developed an animal husbandry model with more than 100 sows and pigs for meat together with thousands of chickens. With achievements done in agricultural production, he has also won the “good farmer in production and business” for many consecutive years.
Similarly, Do Thi Kim Hoang residing in Lac An commune’s hamlet 4 has also been successful with a model of growing fruit trees under the support of the local Farmers’ Association and administration.
