Division of Economy and Budget of Provincial People’s Council: To monitor activities of obstacle removal for enterprises

Early September 4, Division of Economy and Budget of Provincial People’s Council met up with Department of Tax, Department of Customs, and State Bank of Vietnam in Binh Duong Province to hear reports on monitoring implementation and results of some measures for removing obstacles for enterprises in production and business operations under Resolution No. 13/NQ-CP of the government and Resolution No. 29/2012/QH11 of the National Assembly.At the session, the three departments stated the results achieved and obstacles facing them including low rate monetary policies, enterprises disqualified of loan offerings, and effects of government’s Resolution No. 13 on tax collection.Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Van, Deputy Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council, cum Head of of Economy and Budget of Provincial People’s Council highly appreciated the implementation of the resolutions in the past time. Meanwhile, the sectors are required to implement measures to limit loss of collection and tax with expansion of communicatoin and education forms so that enterprises can grasp up policy contents. The associations are required to stay connected with enterprises in terms of guidelines and implementation of tax policies on taxpayers as regulated. For sector of customs, reforms should be promoted to improve competitive index for the time to come. The banking sector needs to review management of bad debts and monitor loan offerings to foreign organizations and enterprises.Reported by T. Dong – Translated by Vi Bao
