Thanks to the diversification of banking services plus devoted staff, Dong A Bank (DAB) has taken the lead among banks effectively operating in southern Binh Duong province.

With the good performance, Lai Thieu Animal Feed Co.Ltd. is listed among the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Viet Nam.
The company has also been one of DAB’s close clients in capital mobilization and support for many years. Nguyen Van Tong, deputy general director of the company said that DAB has always given financial support for the company in all situations.
Meanwhile, Le Quang Van, deputy general director of Song Be Golf said that the Asian financial crisis took place when Song Be Golf was under construction. At that time, many banks quickly changed cooperative methods with Song Be Golf to ensure safety. But, DAB still continued giving financial support to Song Be Golf. Upon the sentimental attachment, Song Be Golf and DAB have so far had a steadfast cooperation relation.
Development in all aspects
With the trademark orientation of “The bank of responsibility, the bank of hearts” and the goal of becoming the best retail bank of Vietnam, DAB has constantly created modern and useful banking services at clients’ demand.
In 2011, DAB reached VND4.5trillion in charter capital, VND64.56trillion in total asset and more than VND44trillion in total outstanding loan, up 14% compared to that of 2010. Its profit was estimated at VND1.225trillion or 97% of the year’s plan.
For 2012’s targets, DAB will strive to raise its charter capital to VND6trillion, the total asset to VND100trillion, the total mobilized capital to VND86trillion, the total outstanding loan to VND50.6trillion, pre-tax profit to VND1.650trillion.
Bui Van Nu, director of the State Bank of Vietnam’s branch in Binh Duong said that DAB has constantly developed and well executed the laws. DAB has made efforts in diversifying modern and useful banking services at clients’ demand…
DAB has also actively got involved in social charity activities, including offering help to people hit by natural disasters, poor patients, needy teachers…Especially, DAB has well realized such the “Paying debt of gratitude” activities as visiting and presenting gifts to the families of martyrs and those who rendered services to the nation; organizing the “back to root” trips…
