In 2023, Binh Duong's position and reputation continued to be elevated at many important international forums. Taking advantage of strengths and opportunities to continue to effectively attract investment, Binh Duong organized many conferences and forums to meet and exchange with foreign investors, took part in seminars on investment promotion in countries.
Provincial leaders regularly proactively made visits to foreign countries to introduce the Binh Duong brand - a dynamic, creative and effective industrial province - to foreign partners; thereby, strengthening friendly relationships and investment cooperation in large markets, such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Netherlands, United States, Canada, Germany...; seeking opportunities in new markets in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
On the other hand, in 2023, the province welcomed many high-ranking delegations visiting and working with Binh Duong; hosted many major international conferences, especially successfully held WTA conference; Horasis 2023 Asian Meeting, "Meet Japan 2023", "Meet Singapore 2023"... Binh Duong's position and reputation continue to be improved.
As actively enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation activities, in 2023, Binh Duong signed a memorandum of understanding to establish friendly cooperative relations with two localities, Artemisa province (Cuba) and Nebraska state (USA). The province has established and maintained friendly cooperative relationships with 13 foreign localities.

Dynamic and effective foreign economic activities have been helping attracting more and more foreign investment projects into the province, improving competitiveness, motivating Binh Duong to become one of leading provinces and industrial cities of the country.
International trips of provincial leaders have brought positive results. Namely, on occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, a Binh Duong province’s delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi visited and worked with Yamaguchi and Ishikawa prefectures, and some Japanese partners. The delegation visited business facilities and infrastructure in Tokyo, met and discussed medical human resources with Japanese doctors, and worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with the hope to continue receiving cooperation and support in the coming time for projects, such as upgrade of public transport infrastructure in Binh Duong province, urban railway line from Suoi Tien station to Binh Duong new city, public railway Bau Bang - Thi Vai - Cai Mep...

After the visit of provincial leaders, Japanese partners, i.e. Tokyu Group, said they would continue to cooperate with and accompany Binh Duong, introduce potential Japanese businessmen to Binh Duong. Leaders of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) affirmed that they would continue to study options to support Binh Duong during the implementation of projects. Ishikawa prefecture and Binh Duong will continue to research and develop future cooperation. Yamaguchi prefecture also continues to promote cooperation activities, tightening the friendship between the two local governments and two elected agencies, strengthening economic, cultural, and medical education cooperation activities between businesses and units of the two localities.
Recently, a provincial delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi has visited and worked with Guangdong province (China); Huawei Vietnam and Becamex Electricity Development and Investment Joint Stock Company - VSIP (BV Power JSC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote green energy transition in Binh Duong during this trip. Through economic forums and large conferences to gather potential investors, Binh Duong also continues to invite guests to its home and turn its locality into a regional investment attraction center. As a result, Binh Duong signed very important memoranda of understanding and cooperation with partners and corporations around the world many fields, such as culture, education, health care, information technology, electronics, promoting capacity development through innovation and sustainable development centers and projects.
