On 17 Jan, Economic - Budget Commission of Provincial People's Council cooperated with Department of Industry and Trade to examine the market stabilization program for before, during and after Lunar New Year 2019 at two supermarkets Binh Duong Co.op Mart and Citi Aeon in Thu Dau Mot City. Through the survey, the organizations and units maintained the price of essential goods, reduce intermediary costs, lower product price of enterprises on the principle of no losses, ensuring that prices always to be from 5-10% lower than the market price from time to time. In particular, contracts were signed with suppliers of goods from Nov 2018; and up to now, 100% of goods have been prepared in warehouses for sale during Lunar New Year 2019. The number of goods for Tet holidays this year is expected to increase from 12% to 15% compared to 2018. The delegation examines goods at Binh Duong Co.op Mart located on 30-4 street, Chanh Nghia ward, Thu Dau Mot City. Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Tam Duong, Head of Economic - Budget Commission, said that businesses needed to continue selling goods to stabilize the market, combine with the program of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas with abundant amount of goods and quality assurance to serve people to happily welcome Tet.
