Over the past five years, Thanh Phuoc ward in Tan Uyen town reached and surpassed the set targets on socio-economic development. Many infrastructure facilities continued being invested, facilitating the local socio-economic development. The local economic structure was developed in the right direction with 60.3% in industry, 29.3% in trade-services and 10.4% in agriculture.

The ward is now home to 59 enterprises, production facilities in stable operation, creating jobs for the local laborers. The whole ward also has a total of 2 temporary markets, 359 variety stores, eateries, lodging facilities…, contributing to promoting the local trade-service sector.
Currently, the ward’s farming land accounts for 56% of total. Over the past time, the local farmers attached special importance to sci-tech application into agricultural production, improving the productivity of crop plants, animals and the quality of agricultural products towards food safety and hygiene.
