Thanh An commune in Dau Tieng district has created a new image after three years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. So far, Thanh An commune has fulfilled criteria of a new rural commune.

In the first quarter of 2014, the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People’s Committees of Tan Uyen town, Dau Tieng and Phu Giao districts to organize 3 market-days of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”, aiming to propagandaize and raise the local customers’ awareness of using Vietnamese goods. 

Businesses that struggled to survive between the years 2011 and 2013 are now leaders in terms of both business administration and independent business strategy.

Provincial Industrial Parks (Ips) Management Board said that Ips under the Management Board in Q1 2014 absorbed additional 24 enterprises. The result has brought the total number of enterprises in these Ips to 993 or 73% of the total licensed valid enterprises. Of these, there are 625 FDI enterprises or 63% of total and 368 domestic ones or 37%.

Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Van Nam made the statement at a meeting on the local industrial sector’s implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2014.

More than 100 Vietnamese businesses have registered to take part in the 2014 Ho Chi Minh City Expo, to be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from May 7-11.

 Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has stressed the need to revise the planning strategy of the mechanical engineering industry, focusing on products serving the priority areas of farming, fishing, aquatic product processing and transport.

This is viewed as a positive sign amidst the current economic turmoil, but it is also a warning of increases in dividend payment sums.

Along with other economic domains, Binh Duong’s FDI attraction and trade surplus in Q1 2014 continued reaching positive results in FDI attraction and trade surplus. This is seen as a foundation for Binh Duong to early complete its plan of 2014.

They are Binh Duong Garment One-Member Co.Ltd., Pomina Steel Joint Stock Co., Dong A Corrugated Iron Joint Stock Co., Phat Trien Co.Ltd., Mori Shige Co.Ltd., Hung Vuong Joint Stock Co., Minh Phat Furniture Co.Ltd., Minh Phat Porcelain II Co.Ltd., Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Co., Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd., Dan On Cashew Co.Ltd.
