Phu Giao district’s Economics Department will cooperate with provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize 10 Tet outlets under the province’s price stabilization program in 10 communes of the district from Dec.23 to 30 of the lunar calendar. Goods at these outlets include rice, cooking oil, seasoning powder, confectionary…with the selling price equivalent to or 5%-6% lower than that of the market.

Binh Duong Customs is committed to promote post clearance check-ups to timely prevent trade cheats and tax evasion. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Viet Dung – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Customs claims to check at least 20 enterprises. The body will stay focus on processing goods, exportation, duty-free products and fields of price, tax identification, tax rates, and trade policies.

 The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade reported that the city has allotted VND 400 billion to 14 businesses to stockpile nine essential commodities in order to stabilise prices during the lunar New Year 2011 (Tet holiday).

The provincial Taxation Bureau just held a summing up conference on its activities in 2010 and set out measures for 2011. In the past year, the bureau conducted the proposed measures synchronously and effectively with the total budget collection of over VND12,722bil, a rise of 128.24% from 2009. Of this, some goals exceeded the set plans.
