After more than one year of implementing the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign, domestic producers have constantly improved the quality and pattern of products to gain customers’ faith. Concerned agencies from central to local levels have set up a lot of programs bringing Vietnamese goods to customers, especially those living in rural areas. One of the programs bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside effectively done over the past time was the organization of trade fairs introducing Vietnamese goods.
Province’s export turnover reaches over US$6.5bln
The province’s export turnover in October secured US$830.3mln, up 3.7% compared to the previous month. The positive result brought the province’s total export turnover over the past 10 years to more than US$6.5bln, up 23.2% against last year’s same period. Of the total figure, the domestic invested sector gained more than US$1.3mln while the foreign invested sector achieved more than US$5.1mln.
Province’s GDP in 2006-2010 period rises by 14%
According to a report of provincial Department of Planning and Investment at the 93rd session of provincial People’s Council, the province’s total GDP in the 2006 and 2010 period reached an average growth rate of 14%.
