Import-export turnover via Binh Duong Customs reaches US$14bil
Binh Duong Customs Bureau, said as of the late October, the total import-export turnover via Binh Duong Customs reached USD14bil, up 35% compared to the same period last year. Of this, export turnover reaped US$7.3bil, a 28% increase compared to the same period last year whilst import turnover won US$6.7bil, a 44% rise against the last year.

CPI rises sharply in October
Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in October went up by 1.05 percent compared to September and 9.66 percent compared to the same period last year, said the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) on October 23.

Total commodity sale and service income up 31.2%
In October 2010, total commodity sale and service income in Hanoi posted nearly 79.6 trillion, up 3.2% from the previous month and up 39.1% compared to the same period last year. Of this, retail sale reached VND 19.67 trillion, up 5.1% from the previous month and 35.4% compared to the same period last year.
