According to reports from relevant agencies, several key industrial sectors in the province are experiencing an increase in new export orders, making them have a high demand for laborers. To meet this demand, provincial functional units have proactively contacted and collaborated with other localities across the country to sign agreements on labor supply and recruitment for businesses.
It is known that in the first half of the year, 3,210 businesses needed to recruit 40,854 workers. Employment counseling and job placement services were provided to 54,172 individuals, creating jobs for 16,590 people or 47.4% of the plan. Additionally, in the first half of the year, the province’s functional sector processed 617,898 social insurance benefit applications, including unemployment benefits for 35,406 people, with more than VND 1.03trillion.
