High tech-based agricultural production is a great program of Binh Duong. Many effective models have been discovered from the application of high technologies in agricultural production, bringing high economic efficiency.
Possibly speaking, the models of hi-tech application in agricultural production have contributed to improving crop plant and animal productivity, increasing the local farmers’ income.

in Tan Uyen district; Bay Khai, Bay Dep, Nguyen Thanh Thuy and Le Van Phan in
Ben Cat district are exemplary role-models in application of high technologies
in agricultural production. They all have a same point of being determined to
farming doing and bravely applying high technologies in agricultural
production. The application of new technologies in agricultural production has
helped the local farmers reduce production cost and increase crop plant productivity. 
Thanks to the application of sci-tech advancements in production, farmers have generated products with high quality at market’s demand
With the goal of saving production costs at minimum level, Bay Khai, a farmer in Ben Cat district’s Lai Uyen commune has researched to make an automatic watering system. The automatic watering system has helped him to cut costs in terms of manpower, water and electricity. The number of crop plants on a hectare in his farmstead has also reached sharp increase from 300 to 1,000.
It is known that investment cost for the automatic watering system is only between VND7mln and VND8mln or one tenth of that made by Israel, but efficiency is the same. The farmer has also applied this automatic watering system on his rubber plantation for better development.
Similarly, Bay Dep, a farmer in Ben Cat district’s Phu An commune has learnt to develop the model of growing tomatoes and cucumbers in a net-covered house with the automatic watering system. The model has helped him generate tomatoes and cucumbers with high quality and they are very safe for customers.
Animal husbandry under the model of cold farm have loomed large across the province’s districts of Ben Cat, Phu Giao and Dau Tieng. The model has also been developed with automatic feeding systems, waste treatment by biogas technology…, helping the local breeders to well control over diseases in poultry and cattle for high economic efficiency.
However, the development of high tech-based agricultural production models in the province is still limited. This is because investment cost for these models is high while most of the local farmers still lack capital.
