Commodities’ quality ensured

The People’s Committee of North Tan Uyen district has just teamed up with the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade to kick off a market-day of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”.

The market-day absorbed 52 booths from supermarkets, trade centers and enterprises in and out of the province with a wide range of products, comprising of food, household electrical appliances…On this occasion, the local people had a chance to purchase hi-quality commodities with 5%-40% discounts together with many other attractive gifts.

As surveyed, commodities on display at the market-day had stability in quality, ensured food safety and hygiene with clean origins and were suitable to the local customers’ taste. Vo Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of provincial Market Control Team said that the quality of commodities at the market-day were ensured, making the local customers feel secure when buying and using them.

Excitement of locals and enterprises

As surveyed, the local people felt very eager when visiting the market-day. It absorbed hundreds of the local people right after being opened. For rural citizens, this was a chance for them to get access to hi-quality Vietnamese commodities with reasonable price and enjoy joyful art performances.

Le Thi Thu Lan, a resident in North Tan Uyen district’s Tan Lap commune said that the program of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” has created favorable conditions for rural residents to easily get access to hi-quality Vietnamese goods. So far, she has also given priority to buying and using Vietnamese goods.

Other resident in Tan Lap commune Chu Van Dong said that there was a diversification in commodities at the market-day. He also hoped that there would be more such market-days for rural residents.

Possibly speaking, the program of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” is a chance for domestic enterprises to expand their distribution system, helping customers to get access to hi-quality Vietnamese goods with stable price. This will help form up a habit of using Vietnamese goods among them.

Tran Thi Thu, Director of Mai Thu Co.Ltd. said that when taking part in market-days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”, her company has considered this be a chance to promote the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”. The market-days have also helped the company promote its production and business activities.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Ngoc Hiep, Chairman of North Tan Uyen district said that the programs of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” have contributed to forming up a habit of using Vietnamese goods among customers. They have also created favorable conditions for customers in rural areas get access to Vietnamese goods.

According to representative of the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the center is expected to organize more programs of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” in a bid to meet people’s demand for shopping and creating more favorable conditions for enterprises to get access to customers, contributing to promoting the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”.
