Green Square trade center covering the area of 16,000sqm includes 3 floors and is built on the model of green work, allowing to save energy effectively. This work is equipped a system of using recycled energy source, collecting electricity from 1,450sqm of solar battery board with the capacity of 213kW. The board produces 230MWh of electricity per year, contributing to 7% of total consumption energy and reducing discharge of over 150 tons of CO2 per year.
Green Square trade center’s cover can reduce absorption of temperature and minimize consumption of electricity, helping save 30% of energy. Especially, the power monitoring system allows to monitor constantly level of electric consumption as well as quality of electric usage at departments in this center.
Protecting environment effectively
Aside from saving energy, Green Square trade center is the environmentally friendly trade center. The center’s parking lot uses technology of preventing flow of rainy water, minimizing flooding and increasing underground water for the whole region.
The work uses a system of saving water and used the treated waste water for watering. All lighting system at the trade center is used T5 flourescent light, helping save 35% of electricity from T8 flourescent light. Meanwhile, design of Sky Light doors collects natural lighting, contributing to reduce electric consumption for lighting system.
Especially, quality of atmosphere in this trade center is controlled by maintaining the natural atmosphere according to Leed standard, ensuring offering of fresh atmosphere for employees and clients.
Apart from being an international standard green work, helping energy saving and environmental protection, this center is an ideal relax and shopping address for people. This center has applied a cold system according to Fafco technology, allowing to preserve cold atmosphere at night to reduce electric consumption of air conditioner system.
After nearly 9 months of operation, this center holds an important role in improving the community’s quality of living and reinforcing connection between work and the community and serving for customers.
