Efficiency from propaganda work

To well implement the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” (briefly called “the campaign”), provincial Steering Boards of the campaign at all levels have sped up propaganda work, raising public awareness  in giving priority to using Vietnamese goods…

Diverse propaganda forms

Nguyen Thi Oanh Kieu, Vice-Chairwoman of Di An town’s Fatherland Front Committee said that the town’s Steering Board of the campaign has so far set annual plans on implementation of the campaign while guiding wards to make dissemination of information about the goal and significance of the campaign among people from all strata.

Along with direct communication, the local mass media have also focused on making dissemination of information about hi-quality products; raising awareness of businesses in generating hi-tech products, affirming their trademarks at customers’ needs…

Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee cum Permanent Deputy Head of provincial Steering Board of the campaign said that after 8 years of implementing the campaign in a synchronous way with measures, the province has formed up a very effective cooperation mechanism from propaganda, mobilization work to acceleration in State administration, efforts by businesses and people’s enthusiastic response. This was also the important foundation for the province to reach initial results in realizing the campaign and will be the motivation for the success of the campaign in the next period. 

Through propaganda programs about the campaign, the local people have had right awareness of the quality of domestic goods, contributing to raising their competitiveness and building up Vietnamese trade marks. There has been a strong change in awareness of the local customers, switching their habit of consumption towards giving priority to Vietnamese goods.

Further mobilizing resources

For better efficiency, according to Mrs.Hanh, provincial Steering Board of the campaign will continue taking effective solutions; attached special importance to enhancing capacity of market control over trade in the province, thereby protecting the local customers and genuine Vietnamese producers.

The Steering Board will also further carry out provincial Party Committee’s Action Program No.99 dated June 18, 2015 on realization of the campaign for the period of 2015-2020. Particularly, the Steering Board will continue mobilizing resources to boost domestic market development activities named “Being proud of Vietnamese goods” under the instruction of the PM…

In addition, the Steering Board will strive to have 100% of customers and businesses knowing about the campaign; all districts, towns and TDM city, sectors, departments and mass organization setting up “Being proud of Vietnamese goods” communication channels; all districts, towns and TDM city making a sustainable Vietnamese goods-selling point program…

The Steering Board will also continue enhancing the effectiveness of State administration in terms of trade, aiming to protect the local customers and genuine Vietnamese producers.
