According to the Government Prime Minister’s decision, Binh Duong will become a central city prior to 2020. In order to complete this goal, industrial and urban development is very important. With results done from industrial parks and urban areas in My Phuoc and Binh Duong industry-service and urban complex will contribute to take Binh Duong into a central city ahead of schedule.
Big roads opened
On the Government Prime Minister’ decision on adjusting overall planning on Binh Duong provincial socio-economic development till 2020, Binh Duong will become a civilized and modern urban area and is one of developed areas of socio-economy in the Southern key economic zone.
Once becoming a central urban area prior to 2020, the provincial industry wil develop on diversification of product, hi-tech application, clean technology application, tourism development and so on. Besides, Binh Duong will be one of big industrial center in the region by 2020 and be a developed locality of high technology, auxiliary industry, export processing industry and improve competition of processing industrial products on the international market.
This will be also an industrial city in attachment to urban, service development. In addition, the city will develop industry in combination with environment, national defense and security, lure manpower with high quality, minimize maximum fields using many laborers.
Eyeing the mentioned goals, planning, construction and development of industrial parks in My Phuoc, Ben Cat town and the complex make up great successes, contributing to take Binh Duong become one of industrial provinces. Simutaneously, thanks to well-equipped infrastructure facility of industrial parks and urban areas in My Phuoc, Ben Cat today becomes a town ahead of its schedule while industrial parks and urban areas at the complex impacts strongly on becoming the second urban area of Thu Dau Mot city. This achievement contributes to rapidly change urban image of Binh Duong and make up a premise for completing goals.
Bounding for future
In reality, on advantages of industrial parks and the complex, Binh Duong focuses on transferring economic structure in line with industrialization and modernization. Over the past years, the provincial administration concentrates on developing a synchronous urban system surrounded by satellite urban areas; developing urban areas in combination with infrastrucutre structure development; striving to become green, modern, civilized and examplary urban areas.
Notably, urban construction in My Phuoc and Binh Duong New City with synchronous and modern infrastructure facility helps the locality cooperate with foreign partners better. Until now, many works at My Phuoc and the complex have been complete sooner its schedule, spurring industrial, service and urban development on sustainable growth in the subsequent years.
As for economic field, to reach the set goals, Binh Duong will focus on many measures to develop local industrial parks. Expectedly, the entire province will till 2020 have 35 industrial parks in total with the area of nearly 13,765ha. These industrial parks are targeted to lure enterprises across 16 industrial parks in Di An, Thuan An towns and Thu Dau Mot city; perfected and attracted projects in the Northern industrial parks in the province.
Meanwhile, in order to finalize these goals, the provincial People’s Committee launches many measures. Specifically, the provincial administration will continue to pay more attention to strong and synchronous developing technical and social infrastructure; perfect traffic system; reform administration procedures rapidly and simply. Besides, the local administration concentrates on expanding network of vocational training and changing structure of vocational training, spurring vocational training on socialization trend, focusing on training technical workers and high quality laborers for key industrial sectors.
Possibly speaking, Binh Duong effectively implements infrastructure construction of industrial parks to ake Ben Cat develop stronger, helping Binh Duong sustainably develop in the coming time. This is the achievement of hi-unity and effort of the Party, authority and people in Binh Duong on the way of industrialization and modernization.
