Binh Duong province’s economy has been heavily affected by Covid-19 epidemic. But with the will and efforts by the local Party, government, people and business community, the province’s economy is reaching good recovery with many promises of completing the set goals soon. In particular, the province’s prerequisite factor for the recovery is a high determination in building the local infrastructure system in association with open policies, attracting investors and employees to come back to work after the pandemic peak period.
The province’s infrastructure facilities, especially key traffic works have upheld their exploitation efficiency. Along with works completed and put into use, in 2021, the province has implemented many arterial works with inter-provincial and provincial connectivity, promoting socio-economic development. In order to quickly deploy key projects, creating a driving force for development, in addition to investment and construction units, the role of the natural resources and environment sector needs to be mentioned in determining land prices, speeding up the progress of compensation and site clearance.
During the peak period of the pandemic as well as when returning to the "new normal" state, under the direction of the province, the local natural resources and environment sector has made great efforts to fulfill its duties, contributing to creating favorable conditions for infrastructure projects carried out on schedule. And, the sector's own efforts as well as smooth and responsible coordination with the departments, sectors and localities will certainly contribute more conditions, bringing about good results in promoting infrastructure works. Every time the local infrastructure works and projects are completed, promoting their functions, they will be a lever for Binh Duong to develop more and more strongly.
