Electric supply in dry season ensured

This statement is affirmed by Binh Duong Electricity Company, provided that electric users must ensure stable use and implement energy saving to cut costs.

Ensuring supply of electricity

Le Minh Quoc Viet, vice director of Binh Duong Electricity Company said that in 2015 supply of electricity in dry season will face many difficulties. In order to ensure adequate supply of electricity for enterprises and families and contribute to local socio-economic development is a great challenge for the local electricity sector. Therefore, right from the beginning of 2015, Binh Duong Electricity Company actively mapped out detailed plans on electric supply in an attempt to assure adequate supply of electricity.   

In the first two months of this year, the total electric output in the province reached 1,265,014,000kWh, till the end of the first quarter of this year the total consumed electric output in this locality was at 1,922,013,000kWh, winning 24.5% of yearly plan. Loss of electricity in the first 2 months of 2015 was at 6.07% while total saved electric output in the first quarter was at 1.65%.

Synchronous implementation of measures

According to Binh Duong Electricity Company, to ensure stable supply of electricity, the company’s team of electric supply management inspects its tasks and sets out plans for subsequent weeks. The company also often inspects and monitors implementation of electric supply of branches, periodically reports monthly situation of electric supply and maps out plans for next months.

Binh Duong Elelctricty Company will set up information channels between branches and clients to exchange information timely through telephone, website, hot line, meeting and among others as well as rapidly solve queries, complaints of clients.  

Dissemination on electric saving spurred

At present, Binh Duong Electricity Company has accelerated dissemination on electric saving on mass media and mobilized clients to carry out measures of electric saving in line with the Government’s Instruction No.171/CT-TTg dated Jan. 26, 2011 on spurring electric saving, the provincial People’s Committee’s Instruction No.02/2011/CT-UBND dated March 14, 2011 and more.

Accordingly, the company actively offers information on electric using for clients using from 30,000kWh per month and more, signs sub-contracts for clients using from 100,000kWh per month and more. For clients using electricity stably, the company will allocated output as registered. In case of electric interruption, the company will debate clients using from 100,000 kWh per month to ask them to reduce energy using at 10-15% level.

Over the past years, Binh Duong has well implemented programs of using compact lights for electric saving, surpassing 0.44% of the entrusted plan of the Southern Electricity Company. Implementing this program helps minimize the global climate change through saving ebergy as well as cut peak capacity of electric system. Until now, 8 electric branches under Binh Duong Electricity Company have reached the entrusted plans of electric saving.   

In this year, Binh Duong Electricity Company strives to reach and surpass goal of electric saving of 2.1%. The company will additionally improve efficiency of telecommunication on electric saving and enhance client service.
