In a report on labor fluctuations in industrial production enterprises, the Binh Duong Statistics Department informed that the labor utilization index of industrial production enterprises in April 2022 had increased by 2.5% compared to the same period last year and by 3.6% from April last year.
Of the increment, the index in non-state enterprises increased by 1.7% and by 2.8% in foreign-invested enterprises to be accumulated for the first four months of 2022 of laborers working in industrial enterprises at 82.3% over the same period. In which, labor in the processing and manufacturing industry was 82.3%. Some industries have reduced labor such as production of other non-metallic mineral products by 28.5%, electronic products, computers and optical products by 23.6%, other processing and manufacturing industries by 25.2%, clothing by 19.3%, drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials by 20.7%.
