Federation of Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs for excellent achievements On December 13, 2013, Central Federation of Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs awarded emulation flag to Binh Duong Association on its sideline of recent conference of presidency and 5th central committee in the 4th tenure while summing up activities in 2013 and approving activities for 2014.Through its evaluation of activities in 2013 and accrediting efforts and contributions of associations in cities and districts, Binh Duong Association was one of the brilliant establishments of the year.The successful activities conducted in the year by Binh Duong Association of Young Entrepreneurs lied within its bringing actual benefits to members including economic linking, authority meeting, policy communication, sports, culture, charity, society, awards, and international cooperation among others.Accordingly, the association held New Year meeting and idea contribution to the draft amendments of Constitution 1992, amendments of Land Law, meeting of all-time leaders of Department of Industry and Trade as part of grasping up policies, decisions, and proposals for resolutions to challenges and obstacles of enterprises.Various programs were to connect in terms of knowledge and practical trading by creativity of members including Saturday morning café, trade connection in Dong Nam Bo Region, workshop on Intellectual Properties, weekend Association of Young Entrepreneurs, joint operation cooperation deals with professional associations of the province, new member admission, sport games, charity visits, etc.All the activities created the bond of members and environment of creativities to satisfy the cooperation and development demands in timely grasping up of policies, decisions, and laws of the State in enterprise economic development.Aside from activities taking care for members, community and social activities have also been specifically promoted by Binh Duong Association of Young Entrepreneurs.In 6 months of the year, Binh Duong Association of Young Entrepreneurs organized gift visits to orphans and the disables costing VND 30 million, funding VND 15 million for poor children in Thu Dau Mot City, volunteer entrepreneurs of VND 50 million, charity houses costing VND 150 million and other VND 260 million for social and charity drives.Besides, Binh Duong Association of Young Entrepreneurs has also sponsored awards to encourage Youth’s League officers and local talents at VND 137 million.Activities of the association have promoted unity of actions and will of members.Quantity of membership has been extended in terms of multi-facet quality. The association has also proceed to establish sub-associations in Thu Dau Mot City, Di An Town, and Thuan An.On the occasion, excellent emulation flag was awarded to 19 members, merit certificates to 27 local associations, merit certificates to 49 officers of Office of Young Entrepreneurs of Central Youth’s League, and 50 merit certificates to members of central federation and specialized officers.Reported by Ngoc Trinh – Translated by Vi Bao
