Provincial Steering Board of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign opens a conference to review the five-year implementation of the campaign and honor 15 collectives, 20 individuals for their good performance in the campaign today, November 14.
After the five-year implementation of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign, the province saw an increase in the number of enterprises participating the program of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” or organizing Vietnamese goods-selling points with preferential price. In 2010, the whole province had a total of 12 Vietnamese goods-selling points with preferential price. The figure has so far amounted to nearly 100 points organized in the densely populated areas of the province.

Province-based enterprises have brought hi-quality Vietnamese goods into supermarkets to serve customers
Many enterprises have actively responded to the campaign by practical activities. Trung Thao Trading-Services Private Enterprise is a typical example for this. Over the past five years, the enterprise regularly took part in the programs of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” organized by provincial Department of Industry and Trade; launched a lot of promotional programs…
Many other enterprises, namely Dai Hong Phat Pottery Private Enterprise, Saigon Binh Duong Trading-Services Co.Ltd., Minh Suong Co.Ltd., Mai Thu One-Member Co.Ltd., Nam Binh Co.Ltd.,…were also enthusiastic to participate in the programs of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”.
Over the past time, the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade organized a lot of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” programs in districts of Dau Tieng, Phu Giao and North Tan Uyen. Participating enterprises also teamed up with the organizers to present many gifts to young workers and poor people at “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” market-days. Noticeably, the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” helped the local people get access to hi-quality Vietnamese goods with preferential price.
According to Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, Director of provincial Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information, enterprises’ role is very vital in the process of realizing the campaign. Realizing this, province-based enterprises have actively got involved in market-days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”, sped up propaganda work to help customers know more about the meaning and role of the campaign, well realized the slogan of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”…They have actually contributed to the success of the campaign and had responsibility to customers in manufacturing hi-quality products with beautiful design and competitive price.
