Provincial Industrial Parks (IPs) Management Board said that in the first 10 months of 2023, enterprises in the local IPs disbursed more than US$ 1.89million, reaching 75.66% of the year’s plan. Of these, the foreign economic sector reached more than US$ 1.67 million, accounting for 88.64% of total while the domestic economic sector gained US$215 million, accounting for 11.36% of total.
With many positive support solutions from the province and the efforts by the business community in surmounting difficulties, the local IPs have maintained stable production and business activities, positively contributing to the local economic growth and job creation. In the first 10 months of 2023, enterprises in the local IPs reached nearly US$ 36.2 billion in revenue. Their export turnover obtained over US$ 25.1 billion while import value was US$ 20.7 billion. They paid US$521 million for State budget. In the first 10 months of 2023, addition 85 enterprises were in operation, reaching 65% of the year's plan. Thus, the total number of projects operating in province-based IPs has so far amounted to 2,576. Of these, there are 495 domestic investments projects and 2,081 FDI ones.
