Enterprises’ social responsibility drives sustainable development

Early October 8, Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper, in collaboration with provincial People's Committee, organized a seminar on "Enterprises’ social responsibility driving sustainable development" at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center.

The seminar was attended by Mai Hung Dung, Pernament Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Lam Hieu Dung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper; leaders from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Training; experts, scientists, representatives from various departments and agencies from the Southeastern provinces, along with about 30 enterprises.

During the seminar, these enterprises discussed topics such as “Enterprises’social responsibility - A journey to increase brand value”, “Social responsibility in education - positive and long-term impact on sustainable value”… with experts.

In addition, the seminar also discussed contributions to the State budget, sponsorship of community initiatives, with a focus on the social charitable activities of the Vietnamese business community; issues on promoting sustainable business models that meet the financial needs of enterprises, funding business initiatives, supporting social and environmental initiatives…
