Opportunity for promotion of reforms and technology application
In 2016, Smart City was first held in Binh Duong with great resonance. More than 700 guests attended the plenary conference and more than 200 visitors attended 24 booths of exhibition. The science and technology business exhibition is one of the five major events of Smart City Conference 2017. The organization of the exhibition aims to display and demonstrate live images of advanced services and technologies as an opportunity for businesses to promote innovation and technology and a place for start-up groups to introduce solutions that can contribute to the smart city of Binh Duong.
Thirty-two exhibitors with 44 booths, including 7 startups, 5 schools, institutes, centers, 1 bank and 19 enterprises are present at the exhibition taking place in three days, from November 25 to 27. The exhibition is divided into two areas for technological enterprises and innovative ideas. For the area reserved for technology enterprises, representatives of enterprises will present and test the reality of high technology products, information technology applications, 4.0 digital industrial technology trend, and smart city. The area for innovative ideas is a place for start-up groups and small units to present solutions that can contribute to the smart city of Binh Duong.
At the exhibition, Becamex IDC will present the exhibition on intelligent industrial parks, convenient transportation buses; Dutch Consulate and Smart City Office exhibits solutions for developing smart cities of the Netherlands. Business start-up companies will exhibit information technology applications that provide intelligent transportation solutions, application of IOT to control street lighting systems, provision of equipment and solutions for observation and control of electrical appliances in the family.
Progressive preparation
Nguyen Xuan Thu, Director of eData Center Service Center of Vietnam Communication and Technology Corporation (VNTT), said that the corporation will display and introduce products of energy savings and management such as LED lighting system and intelligent traffic. VNTT’s products have been launched in a process of research so the company believes these solutions will contribute significant to Binh Duong’s successful construction of a smart city.
La Vinh Trung, deputy head of the scientific research department of Vietnamese German University, said that automation and sensing are the strengths of the university. Therefore, the university will introduce robot capable of simulating simple human activities to assist in traffic safety.
An unnamed representative of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the preparation work for the exhibition took place on schedule. Yesterday, businesses finished gathering all the goods and staging the booths.
Thu said that from the afternoon of November 23, the unit has completed the design of the floor and implementation of pavilions. On November 24, foreign experts have completed installation of projection system of bright LEDs, controls. By 17:00 the same day, the unit finished the preparation work for the exhibition.
Recognizing that in order to timely launch the products at the exhibition, exhibitors organizing science-technology enterprises and related departments have closely monitored the implementation of the guidance of the province. As a result, all the preparations for the exhibition have been completed as planned.
