In the agricultural sector, the entire province is now home to over 5,760 hectares of farming land with high-tech application. The local animal husbandry has also seen significant positive changes towards large-scale and concentrated models, with farm-based animal husbandry accounting for over 90% of the province's total cattle and poultry. Chicken raising models under high technologies have continued developing with 150 farms investing in breeding chickens, egg-laying chickens and meat chickens...Binh Duong is also among the top localities achieving significant results in establishing animal disease-free zones towards export.
Provincial agricultural sector continues effectively implementing comprehensive and synchronous restructuring plans with a focus on key areas, operating under the market mechanisms, applying new scientific and technological advancements. These efforts are the primary drivers for creating added value and transforming the growth model. The organization of production and business chains in agriculture is being innovated; product quality is being improved and the competitiveness of agricultural goods is making significant progress.
