Export surplus of 3.8 billion USD
In 7 months of 2019, the province's export turnover reached 15.56 billion USD, up 13.3% over the same period last year. Some major export products of the province have a good increase such as wooden products by 15.5%, textiles and garments by 14.9%, footwear by 12.5%, and electronic components by 12.6. % ... In the past 7 months, the export surplus reached 3.8 billion USD.

According to industry associations, the main export enterprises of the province have had orders until the end of the year. This creates a basis to ensure the province completes the export growth target this year over 15% compared to 2018.

According to the forecast of the Department of Industry and Trade, in the third quarter of 2019, the export of wood and wood products of the province continued to increase strongly, due to stable construction activities in the key export markets of the province. Along with that, there is a need to repair and replace interior equipment to increase strongly to serve holidays and Tet in the last months of the year.
Mr. Nguyen Liem, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Timber Association - Chairman of Lam Viet Board of Directors, said that since the beginning of 2019, the company has achieved a growth rate of about 20% compared to the same period in 2018. Promote investment promotion
According to experts, at present many domestic export industries are facing disadvantages due to not being fully active in raw materials and accessories for production. Along with that, with the current capacity, the domestic leather, garment and wood processing industries have more opportunities to develop when the free trade agreements that Vietnam has participated in are enforced. But to ensure stable development, these industries also need to pay attention to protecting the origin of products for national interests, avoiding trouble in foreign trade operations when there is a trade war between major countries .
In 2019, Binh Duong set an export growth target of 15.5% compared to 2018, industrial production index increased by 9.5%.
