How has the campaign of “Binh Duong’s youths start up business” been implemented? What is the role of provincial Youth Federation in realizing the campaign?
Over the past years, provincial Youth Federation organized a wide range of practical activities arousing the spirit of startup business among youths. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and Youth Federation have also just coordinated with provincial Department of Science-Technology and Young Physicians’ Association to organize the 2017 festival “supporting youths to start up business” with the participation of more than 200 Youth Union officials and members.

At the festival, provincial Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, Youth Union Standing Committee, Department of Science and Technology signed provincial joint program on supporting youths to start up business for the period of 2017-2020. Under the program, they will organize “creative business startup” festivals, “Ideas for business startup” contests, “business startup” forums; set up provincial support fund for youths to start up business…
The program significantly contributes to creating a favorable environment for youths to establish their position in life and themselves up in business while encouraging and build the spirit of business startup among them.
Which barriers have the local youths faced in business startup?
“Youths with creative business startup” is the 2017 operational theme of the Vietnam Youth Federation, aiming to support youths in business startup; encourage them, step by step meeting their legitimate demand.
Over the past years, provincial Youth Union actively improved operational contents and forms to be closer to youths; supported their legitimate needs…With the support of ministries, sectors and authorities at all levels, business startup activities among youths have taken place very animatedly.
However, youths have still encountered a lot of obstacles, including the lack of capital, breakthrough ideas, experience…, in the business startup process. Provincial Youth Federation is making efforts to remove the above obstacles, helping youths take fruits in business startup.
Which solutions will provincial Youth Federation step up to facilitate the local youths’ business startup?
Students and rural youths are two targeted groups of the program on supporting youths in business startup. They are expected to promote business startup activities among youths in the coming time. Provincial Youth Federation will continue coordinating with provincial Department of Science and Technology, Young Physicians’ Association to support youths in business startup. Especially, provincial Young Physicians’ Association is assigned a task of implementing provincial Project on “Supporting business startup ecosystem, creative business startup till 2025” for the period of 2017 and 2020.
The Central Committees of the Youth Union and Youth Federation are actively taking part in removing obstacles in the process of youths’ business startup by officially running a youth business startup support center, creating a mechanism of gathering business start-up youths and calling for businesses to share experience with youths…
Youth Unions at all levels and other mass organizations will build up a main workforce in the business startup movement, especially give priority to the two targeted groups, thereby creating good models and replicating them.
