Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and leaders of departments, sectors in the province, on June 17, had a working session with a delegation of Taiwan’s Far Eastern New Century Corporation, led by Hu Cheng Long, General Director of the corporation.
At the reception, representative of the corporation briefly introduced its business scopes in the world. Far Eastern Polytex Vietnam Co. at the Bau Bang industrial park in Bau Bang district is the second project invested by the coporation in Binh Duong with a total capital of US$760million, specialized in manafacturing yarn and polyester products.
Speaking at the working session, Mr.Liem emphasized that the factory will be put into operation with the most modern production line at present. Once being completed, it not only generates jobs for around 7,500 laborers, but also contributes to promoting Vietnam’s auxiliary industry. In the coming time, provincial People’s Committee will support the factory so that it can soon go on stream and fulfill its first order in early 2017.
