In 2017, Dau Tieng District Farmers Association has risen Farmer Assistance Fund of over VND 289 million, increasing the total fund by more than VND 3.1 billion. Therefore, the association disbursed for 767 members to borrow money for animal husbandry and cultivation at household. In addition, the association guided farmers to access preferential credit policies according to Decision No. 04 of the provincial People's Committee. As a result, there were 9 units and individuals that made registration to the plan. After survey and evaluation, the association disbursed for 6 units and individuals. In addition, the association encouraged a number of companies to support capital and in selling materials on the deferred payment of over 56 tons worth more than VND 6 billion, helped 472 members in family economic development.
During the year, Farmers Association of Dau Tieng district also coordinated to develop infrastructure; organzied 143 training courses, science and technology transfer, seminars on fertilizers and techniques of using agricultural chemicals for nearly 7,100 members.
