As of now, Bau Bang district’s total areas for growing annual, perennial and fruit trees have reached 1,400 hectares, more than 25,000 hectares and 397 hectares, respectively. The district has also had 193 hectares of farming land under hi-tech application.
The whole district is now home to 302 farms on cultivation and animal husbandry, including 14 with the VietGAP certification, together with 10 cooperatives with total investment capital of VND35billion. District-based cooperatives and cooperative groups on agricultural production have been strengthened in terms of their operational mode in association with farmers’ practical benefit.
