According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, in July 2024, the whole province attracted additional US$70.2 million in FDI capital. In the first seven months of 2024, the province attracted a total of US$ 1.07 billion in FDI capital, including 110 new investment projects and 81 ones raising capital. To date, the province has attracted 4,342 FDI projects capitalized at over US$ 40.9 billion.
According to the 2024 plan, the whole province aims at attracting approximately US$1.8 billion in FDI capital. Of these, province-based industrial parks strive to attract US$1.2-US$1.3 billion.
Provincial leaders have required that before granting investment licenses, relevant authorities must focus on selecting and assessing the feasibility of projects, evaluating the financial capacity and reputation of investors and firmly rejecting projects that are of poor quality, inefficient, or do not align with the province’s development orientation.
