Early October 13, provincial Farmers’ Association forwarded a conference to review the five-year implementation of the Resolution No.07-NQ/HNDTW of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association (VFA) on the occasion of the 86th founding anniversary of the VFA (October 14, 1930-October 14, 2016).

Over the past five years, the Resolution was concretized by provincial Farmers’ Association’s Standing Committee by practical programs. As of September 30, 2016, the association raised its Support Fund for Farmers to nearly VND100million, set up 264 cooperative groups, provided 4,500 members with loan to develop production models. Most farming households registered to win the title of “good farmer” at all levels. Over the past five years, the association instructed its branches to boost sci-tech application in agricultural production with 4.470 classes on sci-tech transfer organized; established 264 cooperative groups, 22 agricultural cooperatives, 260 farmers’ clubs…
On this occasion, leaders of provincial Farmers’ Association awarded 4 mementoes “For Vietnamese farmers” to those who made active contributions to the local farmers’ movements over the past time.
