"Giving strength” to enterprises

While the economy is getting ready with "recovery" after a series of days of Covid-19 epidemic under subsidence, the resurgence of the pandemic has changed all production-business plans set out by each enterprise. As usual, the second and third quarters are the favorable period for enterprises to set up plans to speed up production and business activities to fulfill their targets set from the beginning of the year. Since late May, most enterprises in the province have been "sitting on the fire" because of the negative effects of the 4th wave of the pandemic.

In the face of the unpredictable developments of the pandemic, it is forecasted that production and business activities in 2021 will still face many difficulties. Enterprises have to prevent and control the pandemic to ensure safety for employees while actively organizing production and business in line with  the new situation to maintain and develop. The province currently has nearly 4,000 enterprises with about 390,000 workers registering to operate under the “3 on-site” or  “1 road, 2 destinations" models. However, some enterprises have recently detected Covid-19 cases, so they have been forced to stop production. Representatives of some enterprises admitted that they are in the situation of "doing and worrying", but most enterprises have joined hands with the province to control the pandemic and maintain production. Although there are still many difficulties, enterprises have made great efforts in arranging dining and resting areas for employees under the “ 3 on-site” production model.

Amid the complicated developments of the pandemic, it is required that heads of enterprises continue promoting the spirit of being proactive, not being subjective in the implementation of measures against the pandemic while strengthening propaganda among employees to fight against the pandemic together. Each enterprise is continuing actively setting up criteria so that there is an appropriate and timely plan against the pandemic. Ensuring safety for employees as well as enterprises in the current period is a requirement that must be thoroughly grasped by themselves. In order to well implement the "dual goals", enterprises still need support from all-level authorities, sectors and localities in Covid-19 prevention and control and removal of difficulties for production and business.

Since the appearance of Covid-19 pandemic, Binh Duong has identified two "fronts" that are to fight the pandemic and ensure economic growth. The positive signal is that in the fourth wave of the epidemic, the Government and the province have had synchronous, transparent directions and concretized solutions. At this time, Binh Duong is also urgently implementing the Government’s Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 on the implementation of a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic. The province has also further promoted administrative reform, improved the business climate; drastically implemented policies to support enterprises such as deferring tax payments; lowering lending rates... to help enterprises recover and maintain production. The province has still continued accompanying enterprises effectively. Therefore, each enterprise needs to make efforts, nurture aspirations, anticipate opportunities to restore production and business, contributing to economic growth in general.
