Provincial Farmers’ Association, on May 30, held a conference to review its 8th emulation movement of “Good farmer in production-business” for the period of 2014-2016; define orientations, tasks for the period of 2017-2019. Attending the conference were Trinh Duc Tai, Head of provincial People’s Council’s Socio-Cultural Commission, representatives of sectors, departments, mass organizations in the province together with and more than 400 outstanding members of provincial Farmers’ Association.
More than 34,000 local farmers were recognized as good ones at all levels over the past three years. The emulation movement also contributed to forming up specialized agricultural production areas and farmsteads with hi-economic efficiency.
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 20 collectives and 246 individuals. Provincial Farmers’ Association also presented the certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 100 individuals having excellent achievements in the “good farmer in production-business” emulation movement for the period of 2014-2016.
