On the afternoon of October 24, Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Minister of Construction chaired an online meeting with Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Tien Giang provinces on production, business, construction investment, export and import; shortcomings and solutions to promote development. In Binh Duong, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments and sectors attended the meeting.
Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Minh informed about the local production and business situation. Regarding the local situation on construction investment, as of October 15, the disbursement value of the province's 2023 public investment plan reached 51.0% of the plan assigned by the province and 91.3% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister. Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested ministries and sectors to carefully research to have specific written responses for the provinces while synthesizing local recommendations to report them to the Prime Minister. Regarding contents related to the fields of the Ministry of Construction, especially planning in Dong Nai and fire prevention and fighting in Binh Duong, he acknowledged and affirmed his full support for proposals on amending and supplementing regulations to remove businesses’obstacles.
