For healthy people, getting rich is not simple. This will be extremely difficult for those with disabilities. But, with high determination and energy, Le Xuan Dang, a seriously wounded soldier in Ben Cat district’s Tan Hung commune has overcome difficulties to get rich.
Overcoming difficulties
Like many other youths, Le Xuan Dang, from Thanh Hoa, joined the army to defend the country. In 1972, he was seriously wounded after many combats against foreign invaders at the Khe Sanh battlefield. During the medical treatment time, he met and married Pham Thi Thanh, a female volunteer youth.
After liberation, the country faced
a lot of difficulties. Dang’s family also fell into poverty. His family decided
to leave Thanh Hoa homeland for Tan Hung rubber plantation in Binh Duong to
work and live by the end of 1983.

Dang likes a line of poetry “With human beings’strength, gravel also turns into rice” very much. This is also a driving force for him to gain the current success. Also according to him, the diversification of nurslings is a precious experience in agricultural production.
Joy of old soldier
Dang’s business and production models have also contributed to creating jobs for the local laborers with the average income of more than VND4mln per capita per month. More especially, Dang has felt very happy with the success of his children, including are one with MA degree and three with university degrees.
