The fair aims to enhance trade promotion between Hanoi and neighbouring provinces. The fair features more than 100 booths showcasing Hanoi’s high-quality agricultural products such as safe vegetables, fruit, seafood, and fresh and processed food.
Specifically, typical craft village products of the capital city and agricultural products of neighbouring provinces in the Red River Delta and southern mountainous area were displayed at the fair.Also at the opening ceremony of the fair, the organising board presented prizes to 11 entries in a beautiful photography competition on Hanoi’s agriculture and rural areas. They included one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and five consolation prizes.
Under the framework of the fair, a seminar will be held introducing results and experiences in applying advanced technologies in agricultural production and honouring trade villages and traditional products, as well as achievements in the new rural construction programme.
The fair will close on December 17./.
