In order to complete 2015’s plan, Binh Duong has focused on hastening progress of key works, contributing to perfect infrastructure structure and meet local residents’ real demand as well as spur socio-economic development.
Hastening progress
Nguyen Chi Duc, vice director of the provincial project management board of construction and investment said that as of March 16, 2015 completion of this year’s projects reached 28.62% with value of capital of about VND540.591bn, winning 39%.
In 2015, the provincial project management board of construction and investment is assigned to invest in 56 projects under the State budget, 23 of which are underway. They include Bung Biep-Suoi Cat Spring water drainage canal, Phu Hoa resettlement area, Ba Lua Bridge, Ong Co Bridge and more.
In addition, 5 other projects are under assessment, 5 under design phase, 3 under compensation and site clearance. As for lottery capital source, the provincial project management board of construction and investment is assigned to invest in 13 projects, 4 of which are under construction, 1 under tender, 3 under design, 1 under assessment and 1 under compensation and site clearance.
As planned, Binh Duong will in the second quarter of this year complete and put into use projects and works such as upgrading and extending DT747 road from Ba Nghia to Cong Xanh; newly building Ba Lua Bridge; constructing a road along to Sai Gon River; upgrading and extending DT744 road and more.
Rep of contractor of road along to Sai Gon River from Binh Nham to Chau Van Tiep said that as of the first quarter of this year the project’s 1st phase was perfected. At present, the contractor has built stone dyke along to the road.
Meanwhile, the project of upgrading and extending DT747A road from Ba Nghia to Cong Xanh includes 3 packages. The 1st package (Km16+717 to Km19+638,37) was completed about 62% of volume. In addition, the third package reached about 69.61% of volume.
Moreover, projects invested from lottery capital source are hastened their progress. Accordingly, project of 1,500-bed general hospital is underway while Binh Duong hospital of Tuberculosis and Lung diseases starts construction of important items. Once put into operation, these projects will contribute to meet local residents’ demand on healthcare.
Ensuring completion of plans
In order to complete progress of works as the set plans, the provincial project management board of construction and investment will continue to work with relevant units to spur inspection of construction volume in a bid to hasten disbursement of works. In addition, the provincial project management board of construction and investment will cooperate with centers of land fund development to hasten progress of site clearance and resettlement for pending projects.
Nguyen Chi Duc added that the provincial project management board of construction and investment will in the coming time hold inspections of works underway, assure quality and time of projects.
Besides, the provincial project management board of construction and investment will focus on building newly projects such as the provincial hospital of Rehabilitation, 300-bed maternity ward treatment area under the provincial general hospital, Children’s Hospital and among others.
Furthermore, the provincial project management board of construction and investment will concentrate on solving problems of investment procedures, design adjustment as well as hastening progress of project assessment, report of technical economy to soon transfer implementation phase.
