Looking back 2 years ago before birth of the action plan No.26 and Decision No.46, Binh Duong agriculture industry was very monotonous with several vegetable, rice, grapefruit growing areas and rubber plantations in the Northern of the province.
However, with timely and right policies of urban agriculture development, agricultural production value remains increased every year.
Since 2012, Binh Duong provincial value of agricultural production constantly increases at 4% per year. This result is thanks to strong development of urban agriculture and hi-tech application into farming and breeding of local farmers.
Agricultural production focusing on quality and efficiency and processing and market orientation is a common trend of the whole country. At present, Binh Duong has concentrated on building areas specializing in rubber, vegetable, flower, ornamental tree and among others.
In addition, development of urban agriculture and hi-tech agriculture in production shows that local people approach and apply many new techniques into farming and breeding. Therefore, in the coming time the provincial administration will continue to support technique and capital as well as hold long-term training courses to develop hi-tech and urban agriculture industry.
