His vegetables showed shiny green in the sunlight.Ha told us that he previously worked as a collector of rubber tree woods for reselling; however, the work was hard and income was low. Meanwhile, vegetable growing could give him more than that. After a time of consideration, he realized the low risk and high income of vegetable growing in compensation for its hardwork.He told us that the area of 1,500m2 was not large enough for rubber trees but vegetables. Thus, in 1998, he switched all his business to vegetable growing.“Local weather is very favorable to short-term vegetables and we’ve changed,” he said. He stocked up experience through growing the traditional vegetables before ending up in growing clean and safe vegetables to distribute in markets of Phu Giao District.Talking to us, he stressed on the effects of chemicals on human life and affirmed to us that in his 16 years of growing vegetables, he has always complied with strict instructions of pesticides administration and time of degrading to ensure health of consumers.“However, I’ve kept in mind of finding a way to grow vegetables without chemical administration,” he said. In 1998, he was the first one to invest VND 30 million to set up green system of vegetable growing to save cost from employment and ensure quality. The seeds have been strictly chosen and the fertilizers were always organic. Thus, in a very short time, he has earned big success.In his garden, every 6 weeks, he could sell out averagely 100kg for net income of VND 500,000 a day. He won the hearts of locals in terms of vegetables safe and good to human.
