Over the past 5 years, high quality Vietnamese goods affirms its position on the domestic market. Many enterprises and producers pay more attention to building retail network, taking Vietnamese commodities to rural areas, improving quality of goods, lowering product price and more in a bid to penetrate into market and encourage customers to use Vietnamese goods.
Vietnamese gives priorities to use Vietnamese goods
Over the past time, local people are aware of importance of the mobilization of “Vietnamese gives priorities to use Vietnamese goods”. Through this mobilization, local people from urban and rural areas pay more attention to domestic goods, especially essential commodities.
Nguyen Thi Que Nhi, the resident in quarter 8, Phu Tho ward, Thu Dau Mot city said that through mass media, her family members use high quality Vietnamese goods. For instance, her family buys 6 lanterns made in Vietnam for the upcoming Full Moon Festival.
Over the past 5 years, the provincial department of Trade and Industry in cooperation with the provincial Youth Union, People’s Committee of districts, towns and townships holds 55 market days in service for youths and workers of some industrial parks and compounds. These market days’ turnover reached nearly VND40bil. On average, each market day attracts the participation of 30 enterprises and more than 10,000 shoppers. Famous trademarks bring many high quality products for customers.
At these market days, shoppers not only buy high quality products made in Vietnam but enjoy music shows and folk games as well as lucky draws.
Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, director of Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under the provincial department of Trade and Industry said that the program of taking Vietnamese goods to rural areas is considered as a breakthrough on consumption stimulus in the province, meeting local people’s demand on shopping. The program not only helps enterprises introduce their products to customers but offer customers high quality goods. These programs contribute to encourage patriotism, national pride and consumption culture for local people as well as to produce high quality products, satisfying consumption demand for local and foreign markets.
Affirming Vietnamese goods’ value
Vo Van Cu, director of the provincial department of Trade and Industry said that the provincial mobilization of “Vietnamese gives priorities to use Vietnamese goods” reaches encouraging results, creating big awareness on political system and helping party members, cadres and employees be aware of using domestic goods.
Many enterprises and producers pay more attention to building retail network, taking Vietnamese goods to rural areas, creating trend of using Vietnamese goods across localities.
In the coming time, to take this mobilization into depth and affirm Vietnamese trademarks right on the local market, the department continues to issue plans on market stability, spur propagandas on Vietnamese give priorities to use Vietnamese goods”. In addition, the department will steer related units to well implement inspections on food safety and hygiene and fight against trade fraud and smuggling and among others.
