R & D Agriculture Joint Stock Company (RDCO) and Binh Duong Agriculture Development Joint Stock Company (BDAD), formerly known as Binh Duong Sugar Joint Stock Company, have signed a comprehensive cooperation in the field of dairy farming at the site of BDAD in Phu Giao district. This is the step of realizing the program of "hi-tech agriculture" that BDAD has been pursuing for many years to increase the value of agricultural products according to the policy of the province.
Modern rearing process
At the BDAD farm in An Thai commune of Phu Giao district, 640 dairy cows are cared for and nurtured according to the most advanced technology in Europe. This process has been adjusted by agricultural specialists to add some details to suit the weather, climate and practical conditions of our countryside.

Bui Thi Thanh Tra, Chairwoman of BDAD, said that the overall climate and climate in Europe is quite different from that in rural Vietnam, so it is impossible to stereotype the whole process. Changes are made to suit the actual conditions. In Europe, people make very expensive cow maintaining site with expensive materials but generally for the purpose of keeping the cows cool and hygienic. Thus, we can adjust the farm housing with materials on the spot, both suitable with rural conditions and reduce costs. It is important to make sure that cows are not shocked by climate change and ensure hygiene during the breeding process.
According to Le Huu Thach, Project Director of BDAD, cows in general and dairy cows in particular are very gentle and self-reliant. Israel is a semi-desert country with very low grassland, water used for livestock is very little but the output and quality of milk here is very high. This is because they apply high technology in management and breeding. The above model is used by BDAD to build a shelter for hygienic and hygienic purposes. Accordingly, each cow chooses for itself a familiar ‘umbrella’, when hungry, to come there to eat or lie down without ‘fighting’ for food and get injured or affecting the health of the herd; Each cow has a "chip" to monitor the body temperature, yield, milk quality by information management. Thereon, the management board of farms can control the health, quality and milk output of each cow. If abnormalities are detected, the veterinarian will come to the field and quarantine immediately the affected one from the herd for proper monitoring and treatment. This is the difference between hi-tech breeding and conventional breeding.
Cooperation for development
Nguyen Thanh Trung, General Director of BDAD, said that the ratio of fresh milk to be processed is not much compared to market demand, so the milk companies have to use dry milk and imported milk powder; thus, the output of fresh milk is now very good. However, dairy farmers are not good because we have not controlled the quality and milk production.
Chau Minh Chinh, General Director of RDCO said that breeding and husbandry is the strength of the company and BDAD, so RDCO chooses to raise those animals that few people may raise. The comprehensive cooperation between RDCO and BDAD is to support each other in the process of project implementation in order to bring into play the advantages of each party towards the quality of raw materials of international standard and safe for consumers through the process of raising science and applying high technology according to VietGAP standards, aiming at GlobalGAP.
