HO CHI MINH ROAD PROJECT SECTION THROUGH BINH DUONG: Striving for early completion

More than 31km of the Ho Chi Minh Road section running through Binh Duong province is currently being accelerated by the construction unit, aiming for technical opening by the upcoming April 30 holiday. However, there are still some construction site problems on this route, along with the lack of land for road leveling, affecting the construction progress. Here are the images of the working atmosphere at the construction site from Binh Duong Newspaper.

The construction unit has increased manpower and machinery, working in "three shifts and four teams" to accelerate the project's progress

According to the construction unit, in addition to the lack of soil materials for road leveling, the construction package through Binh Duong province still has some locations that have not been handed over the site for construction yet.

The construction package No. 1 covers the section from Km10+000 to Km40+150, starting at Km10+000 in Bau Bang district’s Tru Van Tho commune in Binh Duong province and ending at Km41+150, adjacent to the Construction Package No. 2 in Trang Bang district’s Hung Thuan commune in Tay Ninh Province. The total length of the route under this package is approximately 31.15 kilometers, with a total contract value of VND 681.84 billion.

Pham Van Hung, Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Group, the contractor for this package stated that the roadbed has been basically completed. Currently, the construction of various sub-base layers is underway, covering 30 out of 31 kilometers and asphalt pavement has been completed on nearly 21 kilometers. The overall progress of the package has reached 70% of the contract value. Deo Ca Group is making great efforts to overcome obstacles and is determined to open the entire route to technical traffic in time for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), shortening the schedule by seven months compared to the original contract.
