Early February 20, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, along with provincial working delegation, inspected the progress of the Ho Chi Minh Road project on the Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section passing through Binh Duong province.
According to the construction unit's report, the actual completed volume of the entire project has reached VND 920 billion out of a total of VND 1.665 trillion, accounting for 55.2% of the contract value, basically meeting the progress requirements. Specifically, package XL01 has achieved nearly 70% of its contract value. The contractor is determined to achieve technical traffic open before April 30, 2025 and complete the entire project by August 2025—four months ahead of the contractual schedule. On this occasion, the contractor requested the province's support in resolving issues related to site clearance and the supply of land and rock for leveling in certain sections of the project.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary requested Bau Bang and Dau Tieng districts to closely coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to hand over the construction site to the contractor by February 2025. At the same time, he urged the contractor to accelerate the construction progress and ensure that the project is technically open to traffic by April 30, 2025. He also emphasized that if any difficulties or obstacles arise during the construction process, the contractor should promptly report them to the province for resolution. This will help expedite the project’s completion and put it into operation as soon as possible, creating space and development opportunities for the northern localities of the province.
On the same day, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi and his delegation visited and extended congratulations to the medical staff of Dau Tieng district’s Medical Center, Dau Tieng town’s Health Station and Lai Hung commune’s Health Station in Bau Bang district on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025). In each visiting place, Mr. Loi and his delegation extended best regards to staff of the above units, paid tribute while encouraging them to overcome challenges, effectively fulfilling their duties, contributing to the local public healthcare.
