On August 6, Hoa Sen Group held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th founding anniversary and receive the second-class Labor Medal awarded by the State President for its excellent achievements in business-production. Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with many other leaders and more than 1,000 staff of the group.

Hoa Sen Group was previously Hoa Sen Joint Stock Company established in August 8, 2001. In 2008, the group officially posted up its stocks on HCM city Stock Exchange. From a small-sized business, Hoa Sen has developed into one of Vietnam’s top steel producers accounting for nearly 40% of market share in corrugated iron and over 20% of market share in steel pipe. It also won the title of the Global Growth Company 2015 selected by the World Economic Forum.
So far, Hoa Sen Group has had a total of nearly 6,600 staff and developed 8 big factories together with more than 200 agents nationwide. Its products have also been exported into 65 countries and territories around the world. In addition, it is getting involved in many other business scopes like real estate, tourism and services towards a multi-sectorial group. Along with business and production, it has attached special importance to social charity activities.
