Hoa Sen Group yesterday held its 10th founding anniversary and opened Phu My Hoa Sen steel plant at Phu My I IP, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
Since its inception, the group has so far had a chartered capital of up to VND1,008bil and nearly 3,000 employees. Hoa Sen Group has become a leading steel group in Vietnam and a leading steel exporter in the Southeastern Asia as well as accounted for nearly 38% of the country market share.

The group’s growth pace has reached 54% per year during 3 recent years and the group has constantly appeared in the Top 500 of Vietnam’s biggest business list and reached Vietnamese Golden Star Awards.
Amid difficult context, Hoa Sen Group invested nearly VND2tril to build Phu My Hoa Sen Steel Plant with a capacity of 630,000 tons per year for all products. The plant has placed jobs for over 600 laborers.
In the coming time, Hoa Sen Group will invest more 5 other production lines with a capacity of nearly 2.2mil tons per year.
At the founding anniversary, Hoa Sen Group received a merit certificate from the Prime Minister and the group’s other individuals won merit certificates from the provincial People’s Committee chairman.
On the occasion, Hoa Sen Group granted VND100mil to 10 social charity organizations and inaugurated its 100th branch at Chu Se district, Gia Lai province and opened its first showroom on Hoa Sen plastic pipe and water supply component at Thu Duc district, HCMC.
