Exploit in integration period
On July 22, Binh Duong Taxation Bureau held a ceremony to honor 272 organizations and individuals for their obligation of tax payment in 2010. Head of the provincial tax bureau, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee general department of taxation awarded outstanding individuals completing tax payment, contributing to ensure social welfare and macro-economic stability.
Organizations and individuals are honored for their tax payment obligation.
Among the honored businesses, the State-run business bloc paid VND2,117bil to the State budget, reaching 130.89% of provincial plan and equaling 165.69% from 2009. They included Thanh Le trade –import-export company, Binh Duong Lottery Company, Viglacera Company. Meanwhile, foreign business bloc paid VND3,134bil to the state budget, winning 113.62% of plan and equaling 119.14% from 2009. They consisted of Acecook Vietnam Binh Duong JSC, Sun Steel JSC, Media Company…
Besides, homebased economic household and enterprise bloc paid VND3,430bil the state budget, reaching 122.14% of plan and equaling 142.34% from the same period last year. They included Dai Nam JSC, A Chau JSC, Hoa Sen Group, Kinh Do JSC, An Hung Tuong Steel Company and so on.
Obligation completion is every one’s reason for living
Among the honored famous businesses for tax payment obligation in 2008, 2009 and 2010, there were other names of Vu Xuan Gia in Binh Thang commune, Di An town, Nguyen Thi Thuan in Thu Dau Mot town, Nguyen Van Dung in Binh Nham, Thuan An town and so on. They are homebased economic households have completed tax payment obligation for many consecutive years.
Contributions of businesses, bodies and individuals have helped balance local budget and ensure contributions to the central budget as well as reduce poverty and generate jobs, bringing improvement of life for local people.
An honored businessman said modestly “It is enough for us to enjoy honor from the State. Amid current difficulties, I don’t want to appear like a typical example but I want to express a message to community that obligation completion is every one’s reason for living’s honor”.

Vice head of general department of taxation in the HCMC Pham Van Duong affirmed that without business community, economy will face many difficulties. Binh Duong is one of provinces and cities winning over 50% of plan in the first half of this year.
Tran Cong Phuong, rep of Frieslandcampina Vietnam Company in Thuan An town expressed “The State’s permittance for businesses’ operation means that the State always hopes businesses to operate better and generate jobs for local residents, contributing to local socio-economic development. Businesses excelling tax payment obligation show that authorities’ wish and attention is a right and significant thing. Moreover, businesses’ obligation completion shows production and business are very effective. Honoring taxpayers will have more new names in the years coming”.
