On the afternoon of December 23, Binh Duong provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association held its 6th congress for the 2022-2027 term.
The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Youth Union’s Central Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; leaders of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Association, Enterprise Associations of some neighboring provinces and cities.
Binh Duong provincial Enterprises Association was established in 1999 with a relatively modest number of members. After more than 23 years of operation, the association now has more than 650 members. In the 2018-2021 term, the association focused on such key activities as making investment promotion; sharing experience, training management, equipping members with knowledge about business, brand, and finance; organizing exchange programs to meet and accompany young people in establishing their position in life themselves and setting themselves up in business. Besides, the association also encouraged enterprises to actively participate in social charity activities.
With the action slogan of "Solidarity - Innovation - Integration - Breakthrough", Binh Duong provincial Entrepreneurs Association will strive to achieve the goal of improving the quality of association activities; consolidate the organization of branches and clubs; accompany member enterprises to improve competitiveness to adapt to the digital era; actively participate in and innovate charity and social activities… for the 2022-2027 term.
The congress consulted to elect the Executive Committee for the 2022-2027 term, consisting of 39 members. Huynh Tran Phi Long, CEO of Song Than Joint Stock Company was elected as Chairman of the association. The congress honored Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee as the Honorary Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Entrepreneurs Association.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Minh highly appreciated the operational results of the association in the past term and wanted that the Executive Board of the new term will further unite to build up a more and more thriving association. Especially, the association should pay attention to participating in charity work; support Youth Union members in establishing their position in life and setting themselves up in business. Chairman of provincial People's Committee emphasized that provincial leaders are very interested in the business community in general and young entrepreneurs in particular and believe that provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association will continue effectively operating, making worthy contributions to the local development.
