Ltd. in Tan Uyen city, hundreds of workers have returned to work enthusiastically and excitedly at the beginning of the new year. Workers were welcomed back to work by the grassroots trade union and the company's Board of Directors, wishing for a smooth working year, stable employment for workers, peace of mind in labor and production, and commitment to the development of the enterprise and Binh Duong province.
At enterprises in industrial parks such as My Phuoc, VSIP, Nam Tan Uyen, Song Than 1, Dong An etc., there are also many workers returning to work enthusiastically and joyfully in the early days of the new year 2024. Mr. Truong Hoang Nhu, a worker at Puku Vietnam Co. Ltd. of Dong An Industrial Park, said: “During and after the 2024 Lunar New Year of the Dragon, the grassroots trade union and the company's management board showed great care for us workers. After the Tet holiday with our families, we workers happily returned to work, hoping that the year our income and job will continue to remain stable.”
Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Dieu Mi, a worker at Astro English Vietnam Co. Ltd. of Dong An Industrial Park, stated that before, during, and after Tet, the Trade Union of Binh Duong Industrial Parks and the grassroots trade union of the company organized many meaningful activities, taking care of workers such as giving train tickets, round-trip bus tickets, and Tet gifts. Therefore, the company's workers have great trust in the trade union organization as well as the support policies for laborers in Binh Duong province. “We are very grateful for the thoughtful attention of the provincial leaders and trade unions at all levels. We have promised to work actively to contribute to the development of the enterprise and Binh Duong province,” Ms. Mi said.
According to the survey conducted by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Labor Union of the province, 1,160 out of 2,576 selected enterprises have resumed operations after the Lunar New Year, achieving a rate of 45%. The number of workers returning to work after the Lunar New Year in these 1,160 enterprises is 188,280 out of 235,350 workers, reaching a rate of 80.01%. Mr. Luu The Thuan, Head of the Propaganda Department - Women's Union of the province, said that in general, workers are returning to work with enthusiasm and joy at various enterprises. Hundreds of enterprises are giving lucky money to workers at the beginning of the year to create a positive working atmosphere, wishing for a successful new year's work. “During the previous and Tet holidays, provincial leaders, provincial labor unions, and all levels of trade unions have shown great care for workers, especially by providing round-trip air, train, and bus tickets to ensure that workers return to work on time. Thanks to these supportive policies, workers have been able to return to work steadily in the early days of the new year," Mr. Thuan stated.

In the early days of the new year, many grassroots trade unions at enterprises not only organize lucky money giving to workers but also launch movements to encourage excellent and creative labor productivity, aiming to inspire workers to work actively in the early days of the new year. The province is actively monitoring the return to work situation of laborers in enterprises. As of the morning of February 16, in general, laborers have stabilized their mindset and returned to work with enthusiasm, actively striving to complete orders for enterprises, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
During the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024, in addition to taking care of and giving tens of thousands of Tet gifts to workers, providing air tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, labor unions at all levels also organize many "Tet gathering" programs associated with the "Trade Union Tet Market" to take care of workers. Especially, workers facing difficulties who stay in Binh Duong to celebrate Tet are also cared for by provincial leaders, trade unions at all levels with activities such as giving gifts, organizing fun activities, entertainment, helping workers feel at ease staying in Binh Duong to celebrate Tet and after Tet, they immediately start working.
