At a Southeastern urban compound conference, Nguyen Thanh Tai, chairman of Thu Dau Mot town People’s Committee, said the province has over years had efforts on urban planning, building and development. According to Huynh Van Minh, vice director of the provincial Construction Department, traffic network in the HCMC central areas has yet to satisfy standards. Capacity of urban and planning management remains poor.

According to Tai, Thu Dau Mot town has set out key measures of strengthening the Party leadership, excelling thought education, creating hi-unity between political system and people, raising responsibility on urban civilization lifestyle in a bid to build and develop Thu Dau Mot urban area in the coming time.
